Atara is a senior in the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter and is also a member of PSI CHI. She will be graduating in May and hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. Currently, she works in Professor Young's Couples Communication lab and she is working to complete her thesis on positive and negative conversational styles. She welcomes anyone who is interested to jump on board and to write for the exciting upcoming issue of Psych News. |

Sam Cooper is a junior Psychology major and Thomas
Hunter Honors student. He is currently a research assistant in Dr.
Mariann Weierich's Cognition, Affect, and Psychopathology lab, at Hunter
College. He has also been a statistics tutor, and intends to work on an
Honors thesis. Sam plans to pursue a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. He is
also the webmaster for the Psych Collective. |

Marlene Gioia is a senior at Hunter College, and is a Psychology Major. She is part of PSI CHI and a Thomas Hunter Honors student. Marlene works in Dr. Harding's lab, studying the effects of indoor mold on cognition and behavior. Along with coordinating the Psychology Convention, she is currently the treasurer of Psych News. She hopes to pursue a doctoral degree in Psychology. |

| Israel is in his 4th year of study in the rigorous 5 year Architecture Program at City College. He is the recent recipient of the Bernard L. Spanier scholarship in recognition of excellence in design. He works several days a week as an attendant in the model shop at school and he has just begun researching his senior thesis project. After graduation, he hopes to transition straight into a job at an Architecture firm. | |||
