in PSI CHI
Membership in Psi Chi is an honor which is for life. Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. Benefits of membership include being a part of the oldest Psychology Honorary group in the country; becoming a part of an active group here at Hunter; as well as eligibility for scholarships, grants and national convention opportunities open only to Psi Chi members. A permanent
record of your membership is preserved at the Psi Chi National Office,
and may be used for reference purposed such as applications for graduate

Psi Chi members proudly assist in putting together the renowned Hunter Psychology Convention, now in its 40th year. This year, the convention will take place on April 1, 2012.

Requirements
Undergraduate:
Registration for major in Psychology
Completion of 3 semesters or 5 quarters of the college course
Must have completed a minimum of 9 credits in 200-level or above Psychology courses taken at Hunter College
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a minimum GPA of 3.5 in all Psychology courses taken here at Hunter College
Graduate Students:
Registration for major or minor standing in Psychology (or for a program psychological in nature)
A minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale in all graduate courses
Membership
Fees
The Psi Chi national membership fee is $45. This one time fee is for lifetime membership, a certificate suitable for framing, and a membership card. There are no annual national dues.
